A leading designer and manufacture of automated/automatic doors has an immediate requirement for an experienced Project Manager to cover Scotland and the North East.

Location: Scotland, Edinburgh

Salary: £45,000 p/a Car Allowance bonus – Circa £5k

As Project Manager your main role will be to oversee and support the installation of all new automatic door installations covering Scotland and the North East.

It is essential you have previous experience of the installation of automatic doors and have worked extensively within the industry including:

* Technical knowledge and experience of door automation products – Essential.
* Installation experience of door automation products – Essential.
* Possess a high degree of product knowledge in a variety of Aluminium Systems, including automatic door systems – Essential
* PC literate and proficient in the use of MS Office – Essential.
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings – Essential.
* ADSA BS/EN Standards Authorised Technician – Essential.
* CITB CSCS Card to appropriate level – Essential.
* Full UK Manual Driving License – Essential.
* SMSTS – Essential.
* Physically fit and able to cope with the physical demands of the role – Essential

As Project Manager you will work with customers to support product and systems specification verification/design approval including application (i.e. mode of operation against customer requirements and site conditions), site readiness and on-site installation works for new sales orders against agreed customer requirements, contractual obligations, quality standards and budgets.

As Project Manager you will develop sound business relationships with Main Contractors, Façade Sub-Contractors, End Users, Specifiers and Quantity Surveyors with the aim of establishing repeat business and repeat opportunity to quote wherever automatic doors are specified or required.

This role will involve extensive travel with occasional overnight stays.
