A leading IT solutions company have an immediate requirement for a Junior / Graduate Software Engineer / Developer to join them at their offices in Lymington.

Location: Lymington, SO41 9AU – near Southampton / Christchurch / Bournemouth

Salary: £23,000 – £26,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company and become an integral part of the development team.

Initially you will be starting off learning about their hardware products; what they do, how they work, how they are configured, how they test them. As you move forward the role will develop into a test development and automation role.

Their products are very modular, and they want to move towards testing all the “ Module” separate from all the others as they develop the product. This will ultimately will save time and testing will not be one big lump of code at the end of the development process.

So, you will be a Junior/Graduate Software Engineer with experience of testing and C.

You will work closely with R&D to build a test harness to check the functionality of each module to ensure each stage of the hardware build is fully tested in sequence rather than at the end of the set up.

The role will develop into a much bigger position and involve development of apps and integrated apps/software.
