Health and Safety Quality Assurance Manager

As a Health and Safety Quality Assurance Manager you will be joining an established Consultancy with a broad client base across the UK. You will provide a multifaceted service of determining and maintaining in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications to ensure high standards are delivered and to provide guidance and training and support consultants to produce flawless technical reports.

The role is closely related to those of Health, Safety and Fire Assessors, who conduct risk assessments legally required on non-private dwelling places, and fire engineers and fire investigators. The QA manager will ensure that the subsequently produced reports meet legislative and regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of detail and proportionality.

Qualifications Required

* Relevant health and safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH Certificate / Diploma, NCRQ
* NEBOSH Fire certificate or advanced FPA Level 3 Fire Risk Assessor course or greater
* NAFRAR Tier 3 fire risk assessor preferable
* Membership or willingness to pursue membership of IOSH, IFSM, IFE, IIRSM
* Working experience in a H&S, Fire role operating under an established Health, Safety and Fire Management System
* Liaison with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
* Working knowledge of UK HSF regulations and experience in practical implementation
* Operational site experience or willingness to pursue site experience
* Strong analytical and report writing skills
* Positive approach to the challenges of change and see change as an opportunity
* Ability to prioritise and schedule objectives to optimise time, cost and quality
* Strives to improve performance and uses innovative methods to get there
* Excellent communication skills
* Driving Licence

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Health and Safety Quality Assurance Manager, Health and Safety Consultant, H&S Consultant, Fire Safety Consultant, Risk Assessor and be living within a commutable distance of London, Middlesex, Surrey, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire or be willing to relocate.
