Sales Engineer covering Midlands and the West of England

We are looking to employ a new Sales Engineer to be home based in the Midlands. You will travel around your region, meeting customers, building relationships and growing accounts.

The chosen individual will require the following skills to be successful in this role.

* Have a basic understanding of heavy engineering

* To understand, and be enthusiastic about, the products and services on offer
* Carry out tooling demonstration when required
* Liaise with internal sales and engineering staff
* The ability to work on their own as well as part of a team.
* Actively seek out new business while maintaining the existing customer base
* Spot sales opportunities
* Have good negotiation skills to close a sale
